A Lufthansa plane flying from Frankfurt to Minsk had to cancel takeoff due to a passenger infected with coronavirus. At the moment when the plane was already heading for the runway, the woman on board the plane learned about a positive coronavirus test.
This was reported by email. The woman, showing civic responsibility, informed the flight attendants. The pilot was able to stop the takeoff and the woman left the car, Spiegel reports.
According to the information, the woman was on vacation in Croatia, from where she returned last week. She did the test at the Munich airport. The test result was received by her shortly before the start. The plane was supposed to take off at the beginning of the tenth. The flight left for Minsk with a delay of two hours.
