The number of infected per day, declared by the Robert Koch Institute on Thursday, was the highest since the beginning of the pandemic – 6 638 people. More and more settlements, cities and districts are becoming risk zones that have exceeded the border of 50 infected per 100,000 in the past seven days.
Travelers from internal risk areas are prohibited from staying in hotels in some federal states. During a conference of prime ministers last week, eleven federal states agreed to a ban on accommodation. However, in some states the new regulation has already been canceled. Baden-Württemberg, Lower Saxony and Saxony have announced that the ban will end on Thursday. The day before, on Wednesday, Saarland announced the same.
