While making a U-turn in his car, the 25-year-old head of the family seriously injured his three-year-old child. The accident happened in Bocholt, North Rhine-Westphalia.
According to the county police station, a 25-year-old man wanted to make a U-turn in his car and did not notice that his daughter was still at the rear side door. The child’s mother (26 years old), wanted to put the baby in a child seat, but did not have time. When the car began to move, she screamed and the man braked. “A three-year-old child fell and fell out of the car. At the same time, one of the baby’s legs hit the wheels, ”a police spokesman said.
The girl was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
