As part of the city’s development, 54 schools and 70 kindergartens will be built
At a meeting of the City Duma, the deputies approved the master plan for the development of the regional center until 2040.
According to the press service of the Kirov administration, the designers have identified the urban planning potential of Kirov – this is 3 thousand hectares, which can be used for the construction of objects for various purposes. Particular attention is paid to the social sphere. Given the growth of the population, it will be necessary to build 52 schools and about 70 kindergartens.
The building is planned to be developed in several directions at once: in the south – between the Chistye Prudy and Raduzhny microdistricts, Shubino – Ganino, in the east – Veresniki, the transverse part, the village of Bogorodskaya – sl. Talitsa and western – Urvantsevo – Kiseli – Shiki – Sadakovsky.
It is planned to develop transport infrastructure. The construction of about 100 km of main streets and roads is envisaged. Money for construction will be allocated from budgets of different levels.
– The municipality has 134 settlements, which, according to the draft general plan, should be connected with a full-fledged transport infrastructure. Our primary task is to make the movement of citizens convenient, – said the head of the city Elena Kovaleva.
The general plan also takes into account the need for planting green spaces and strengthening small rivers.
