The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation has prepared a forecast for the preparation of the budget for 2022-2024. The department in it predicted the rise in prices for electricity and gas. The details were told to TASS.
So, if everything goes according to plan, then the price of electricity for the population will rise by 5 percent. For industrial – by 3 percent. Consumer tariffs will simply be indexed by this amount. Most likely, the indexation will take place in July 2021.
Wholesale gas tariffs will rise by 3 percent. In the coming years, gas tariffs will be indexed every July.
In addition, the cost of gas transportation through gas pipelines will also increase. In 2021, the tariff will increase by 3.7 percent, and in the next three years – by 4 percent annually.
