In Kaluga, on Sunday, October 11, an explosion occurred in a garage on Mayakovsky Street. Eyewitnesses say about the explosion.
According to the press service of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations, a fire was recorded in the garage. One person died, another was injured.
“At 11:10 Moscow time, a message was received about a fire in a garage in Kaluga, on Mayakovsky Street, building 38. One person died, the other was injured,” the press service said.
According to eyewitnesses of the incident, a gas cylinder exploded in the garage. The men were repairing a car at the time of the explosion. The garage building was smashed to pieces.
At present, fire and rescue units of the Federal Fire Service EMERCOM of Russia in the Kaluga Region are working at the site of the emergency. At the scene, the inspector of the State Fire Inspection understands.
