On Saturday, November 7, near the village of Zalazino, Likhoslavl region, search engines found a fragment of a Pe-2 military aircraft. This was reported by the Istok detachment.
The place where the plane crashed was found according to the testimony of a local resident. Also, the search engines were able to pre-establish the names of the crew members. It is assumed that the pilot Vasily Golubev, shooter-bombardier Anton Shapovalov, air gunner Pavel Chursin were on the plane.
Two reasons for the disaster are considered: a technical malfunction of the aircraft or the hit of an enemy shell. Work continues in the archives.
