The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Research Center of Russia, Roman Vilfand, told reporters what summer awaits the inhabitants of Russia in 2024.
The forecaster stressed that the general forecast for such a long period of time can only be given approximately, but he promised that, in general, the summer season will be warm enough for Russians.
“Summer is expected to be warm. But this is not a confident forecast, which we give, for example, for five days … We will definitely clarify and detail the forecast,” Vilfand said.
He also added that there is a concept of “natural synoptic season”, it is associated with a change in circulation, the interaction of ocean temperature. That is, it cannot be said that any particular temperature means that summer has begun.
