Abnormally warm weather awaits Russians practically throughout Russia in the last week of October. The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, Roman Vilfand, spoke about this in an interview with TASS.
According to him, the temperature will be 10-15 degrees higher than normal in the Asian part of the country, where there will be warm air masses from the Pacific Ocean, and by four degrees – in the European territory, where warm masses from the south are expected.
Especially bright anomalies, according to Vilfand, are predicted in Yakutia and Chukotka. In the daytime there will be about zero degrees, and at night – up to 15 degrees below zero. In the European part of Russia, less bright anomalies are expected, but the forecaster said that comfortable weather awaits residents.
Earlier, on October 24, it was reported that the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand, explained the abnormally warm weather in the center of the European part of Russia at the weekend.
Daytime temperatures will exceed the norm by 6-8 degrees due to the influence of the warm air mass that has formed over the Atlantic and the south of the Mediterranean.
