Football club “Tambov” may not end this season Tinkoff RPL. The sports director of the team Pavel Khudyakov spoke about this in an interview with Sport-Express.
According to the functionary, the club is considering all options to solve the financial problems that have arisen. Khudyakov stressed that he hopes that the team’s condition will improve. However, he did not rule out that Tambov would withdraw from the championship, but he assured that everything would be done to rectify the situation.
According to RB-sport, the team’s wage and bonus debts to current and former players amount to almost 140 million rubles. The total debt of the club is about 360 million rubles. At the same time, in September, Sport-Express published a letter addressed to the governor Alexander Nikitin, in which 13 Tambov players asked to pay off their salary debts for the summer of 2020, including bonuses and bonuses for the last season. Some of the debts were paid off after the sale of striker Vladimir Obukhov, who moved to Rostov on October 1.
