Eyewitnesses filmed the shooting of Belarusian security forces from pump-action guns

The shooting video appeared on a number of Telegram channels, REN TV reported on Thursday, August 13. Internet users claim that the video shows shooting of the Belarusian security forces from pump-action guns, but there is no official confirmation of this information yet.

Published footage shows several riot police officers opening fire on protesters. The video is filmed by a girl from her car who did not take part in the protests.

On August 12, it was reported that the Belarusian special forces used pump-action guns to intimidate protesters in the Uruchye residential neighborhood in Minsk.

Protests began in Belarus after the presidential elections on 9 August. Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko won 80.23% of the vote, while his opponent Svetlana Tikhanovskaya won 9.9%.

Its headquarters did not recognize the results of the vote.

After that, people who disagreed with the election results began to take to the streets. They were opposed by the security forces. In the clashes, there are casualties on both sides.
