According to Astrakhanstat, the index of industrial production in the republic in January-September of this year compared with the corresponding period last year amounted to 95.3%.
The index for the section “Extraction of minerals” amounted to 73.1%. Its decrease was influenced by the activities of enterprises of the fuel and energy complex.
The index in the “Manufacturing” column reached 88.1%, which was caused by a decrease in production at enterprises producing food (89.4%) and oil products (60.3%).
An increase in production volumes by 16.6% was noted in the section “Supply of electricity, gas and steam; air conditioning ”, where it can be seen that the generation of electricity increased by 1.6 times.
The production index also increased by 21.1% in water supply, sewerage, waste collection and disposal, and pollution elimination activities.
