Employees of En + Group are holding a large-scale spring campaign “The City Starts with You!”, Organizing corporate clean-ups in the regions where the largest hydroelectric power plants, thermal power plants and other energy enterprises are located.
As noted, the workers’ councils of the enterprise came up with the initiative to clean up the urban areas.
In the Irkutsk region alone, about 700 employees of energy enterprises take part in subbotniks. En + employees cleaned up the park area near the Irkutsk hydroelectric power station, the bank of the Ushakovka river and other public places. In Bratsk, in turn, volunteers cleared Pobedy Boulevard, a square in the city center, as well as the Zyaba beach on the banks of the Bratsk reservoir.
In addition, subbotniks are held in other cities of the region: Usolye-Sibirskiy, Cheremkhov, Sayansk, Tulun and Ust-Ilimsk.
In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, events were held in Divnogorsk. En + Group volunteers cleaned up the territories adjacent to production facilities, water protection zones of rivers, as well as recreation areas for citizens. In addition to cleaning up rubbish and dry grass, they did a sanitary cleaning of trees and bushes.
“Participation in subbotniks and greening of urban areas are events that have become traditional for us. Every year we see a huge number of people willing to take part in such events. The comfort and ecology of the urban environment depends on ourselves, as the founder of the Company, Oleg Deripaska, spoke about earlier. It is very valuable that En + Group welcomes such an approach, and the number of such initiatives is only growing, ”said Dmitry Tuturin, Chairman of the Work Council of the Baikal Energy Company, a member of En + Group.
According to Maxim Shershov, Chairman of the Work Council of the Irkutsk Electric Grid Company, subbotniks are an excellent opportunity not only to contribute to the improvement of the city, but also to spend time with colleagues and families.
During subbotniks, the company provides all participants with the necessary equipment and personal protective equipment, added to En + Group. In addition, the company organizes the removal and disposal of garbage from the cleaning area, as well as hot tea and snacks for all participants of the action.
En + Group is the initiator of a large volunteer project “360 minutes for the sake of Baikal”, in the framework of which volunteers are engaged in cleaning the shores of Lake Baikal.
