In February, the Russian Foreign Ministry invited all foreign diplomatic missions working in the country to be vaccinated against the coronavirus.

The Russian Sputnik V vaccine is one of the three world vaccines against coronavirus in terms of the number of approvals received by government regulators. The drug was developed by the specialists of the Gamaleya Center. It was registered in August 2020. It became the first vaccine against this virus in Russia and in the world.
