The communal and emergency services of the Jewish Autonomous Region received new special equipment. Funds for its purchase were allocated, inter alia, within the framework of the Development Plan for centers of economic growth, where new production facilities will appear.

49 pieces of equipment were displayed on the square in Birobidzhan. Thus, the vehicle fleet of the ambulance station was replenished with 15 vehicles. The regional multifunctional center received three UAZ Patriot vehicles to provide state services in those settlements where there are no stationary offices.

In addition, the passenger vehicle fleet has increased. New buses will be sent to the Oktyabrsky, Smidovichsky, Leninsky and Obluchensky districts. Three buses will be left in Birobidzhan.

According to Acting Governor Rostislav Goldstein, more than 50 units of equipment will arrive in the Jewish Autonomous Region in late October – early November. Thus, the region will be able to significantly update the vehicle fleet and improve the quality of services provided.

As the EAOMedia news agency specifies, the “Single Subsidy” program for the Far Eastern regions was created after the instruction of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Speaking at a meeting of the Presidium of the State Council in Vladivostok, he pointed to the lack of social infrastructure: kindergartens, hospitals, schools, stadiums, sports grounds and roads.

On the map of the Far East there are 58 centers of economic growth. By 2021, it is planned to build, renovate and improve more than 700 social facilities.
