In the Khasansky district of the Primorsky Territory, a car drove into the people who were registering an accident on the road. Eight people were injured, including traffic police officers. The driver fled from the scene.
As reported to IA PrimaMedia in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region, the incident occurred at night on the 118th km of the Razdolnoye-Khasan highway. Police officers registered the accident at the scene when Mitsubishi Pajero appeared from the direction of Kraskino village. The car drove into the standing people, overturned and caught fire. The driver managed to get out, he disappeared.
As a result of the incident, eight people were injured, including two officers of the road patrol service. All of them are hospitalized and are under medical supervision. There is no threat to life.
The Mitsubishi driver has been identified. He should be detained soon.
