Drunk woman with two children removed from a flight to Sheremetyevo

A drunk passenger with children, who was going to Turkey, was taken off the flight at the Moscow Sheremetyevo airport. Reported by “RIA Novosti” with reference to the press service of the ombudsman for the rights of the child in the Moscow region Ksenia Mishonova on Thursday, August 27.

The passenger was a resident of Tver with children of two and four years old.

“The woman was in a state of strong alcoholic intoxication. The kids were taken to the hospital under the police act while they stay there. They are doing well. Tomorrow, if the doctors permit, the boys will be temporarily assigned to a social rehabilitation center, ”the press service quoted Mishonova as saying.

A search is underway for other relatives, including the father of the children, registered in Moscow.

“In the near future, a meeting of the commissions for juvenile affairs of the Moscow region and Tver will take place to coordinate further actions,” the Ombudsman added.

Earlier, on April 13, a drunk 41-year-old passenger who was going to fly to Moscow was removed from the flight at the Kaliningrad airport. “An administrative protocol has been drawn up against him under Art. 20.21 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Appearance in public places in a state of intoxication”, – reported on the website of the Department of Transport of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the North-West Federal District.

The punishment under this article provides for an administrative fine in the amount of 500 to 1.5 thousand rubles, or an administrative arrest for up to 15 days.
