A criminal case was initiated against the boatmaster of the Afalina motor ship, who rammed the Laundry Bridge while intoxicated, under the article “Providing services that do not meet safety requirements”.
The incident happened on the night of August 2. Passengers paid 14 thousand rubles to ride the ship. As a result, the 44-year-old navigator, being drunk, collided with the right support of the ferry.
As a result of the collision, passengers were scattered across the deck. Three received minor injuries and were hospitalized. At present, a complex of investigative actions is being carried out, all the circumstances of the incident are being established.
