The State Traffic Inspectorate told who drove the van in the Krasnokholmsky district of the Tver region, where an 80-year-old man died.
The accident occurred on August 10 at 08:00 on the 9th kilometer of the Dmitrovka – Martynovo – Liskino – Mikhailovskoye road of the Krasnokholmsky district, where a 50-year-old driver who was not wearing a seat belt, driving a Ford Transit car, exceeded the speed in a state of intoxication, lost control and slid into a ditch.
The accident killed an 80-year-old passenger who was not wearing a seat belt.
Earlier, the son of the deceased told the State Traffic Inspectorate that his father was driving, who asked for permission to ride a Ford, but later law enforcement agencies learned that the man himself was driving the vehicle.
