Earlier, on the official portal of legal information of the region, a project was published, according to which members of the regional government are compensated for the cost of travel through the country in the amount confirmed by travel documents, but it cannot exceed the cost of a business class flight.
The project also proposes to reimburse the cost of travel by sea and river transport in a luxury cabin, and in railway transport – in a luxury carriage.
The press service of the regional government said that this project was not agreed with anyone.
“According to the project, we find out who initiated these changes and why the document appeared on the portal without the consent of M. Degtyarev,” writes TASS on August 8.
On August 5, Degtyarev, in a conversation with reporters, said that he did not intend to raise his wages.
He noted that he will leave it the same as that of the previous head of the region, Sergei Furgal, as he considers it “unethical” to raise it.
