The Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Tatarstan has determined the dates for the celebration of Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Adha in the new year 2024. The relevant information appeared on the website of the RT muftiat.
According to published data, the next year falls in the middle and end of 1442 and the beginning and middle of 1443 according to the Muslim calendar. The beginning and end of the month in the Islamic calendar are determined by local geographic features and astronomical data. Therefore, the beginning of Ramadan in 2024 will be on Tuesday April 13th. Eid al-Adha will be celebrated on Thursday, May 13. Muslims of Tatarstan will also celebrate the holiday of sacrifice on Tuesday, July 20. It should be noted that Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Adha are official days off in Tatarstan.
