The accident occurred earlier that day on the overgrowth of Krasny Prospekt and Derzhavin Street. Three cars of the brands BMW X5, BMW X3 and Toyota collided. As a result, the BMW X5 flew onto the sidewalk, where it hit two pedestrians and crashed into a building.
Victims with various injuries were hospitalized. A 36-year-old Siberian was taken to the hospital with a preliminary diagnosis: a closed fracture of the middle third of the thigh, a concussion and a lacerated head wound, and a 30-year-old pedestrian was hospitalized with a concussion and a closed fracture of the 4th, 5th rib, writes the website kp.ru. As a result of the accident, a passenger VMW X3 was also injured, who was previously diagnosed with a concussion.
According to an eyewitness, people stood on the sidewalk, waiting for a permitting traffic signal to cross the road.
