“This morning, the president is doing very well,” said Sean Conley, accompanied by nine doctors and nurses in white coats outside the Walter Reed military hospital, near Washington, where Donald Trump has been since Friday evening. .
Mr. Trump, 74, suffered from a cough, mild congestion and fatigue, he said, but symptoms “are getting smaller and better,” he said.
“We are monitoring his heart, kidney and liver functions, all are normal. The president this morning is not on oxygen, he has no difficulty breathing or walking inside the White House medical unit, ”added Dr. Sean Dooley.
Despite several questions from journalists, Dr. Conley has not confirmed that Donald Trump has not received supplementation with oxygen at any time, now that he is not currently on oxygen.
His level of oxygen saturation on Saturday was 96%, which is a safe level.
The doctor also surprised by evoking “72 hours” since the diagnosis of the president, a duration inconsistent with the public announcement of the positive test of Mr. Trump, on the night of Thursday to Friday.
