Over the past day, three deaths from coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Karelia: a resident of the village of Sergievo, born in 1954, died in the Medvezhyegorsk Central Regional Hospital, a resident of Petrozavodsk born in 1937 and a resident of Kondopoga born in 1955 died in the Hospital for War Veterans. All three patients suffered from concomitant chronic diseases.
In total, 71 people were infected per day. Almost all – 69 people – fell ill. 12 have moderate symptoms and four are in serious condition.
116 people recovered.
The number of detected cases of coronavirus infection in Karelia increased to 7182.6 cases per 100 thousand population. In Russia, this figure is lower – 3115.6 cases, in the North-West – 5505.9.
