The ex-head of the Don State Traffic Inspectorate became the head of the profile committee for urban planning, road facilities and transport.
Sergei Morgachev has been a deputy of the sixth convocation of the Ulyanovsk City Duma for two weeks already.
Recall that in 2015, the ex-head of the UGIBDD forced his subordinates to equip two rooms for guests at their own expense. After that, the official was arrested and a criminal case was opened against him. Morgachev was sentenced to a year’s probation. In 2018, the sentence was reduced to ten months.
