In Kaliningrad, a vote was launched on the choice of a drawing for a house located near a musical fountain. It is carried out by the Capital Repair Fund. The image will appear at the end of the building on Leninsky Prospekt.
As stated in the Instagram post of the Foundation, there are 19 drawing ideas in total. Residents offer to decorate the house with images of the starry sky, mermaids and nymphs of the Baltic, sea, ocean and modern calligraphy. Also among the images are images of Immanuel Kant.
The Kaliningrad Museum of Fine Arts, which is located next to the decorated house, also presented its options. Among the ideas of the museum are various paintings, photographs and illustrations for works from the museum collection.
The five works that get the most votes will be appreciated by the professional community. We are talking about experts in the field of architecture, design and urbanism. And the results of the competition will be announced on October 25.
According to Kaliningrad.Ru, parts of the pattern will be applied to fiber cement boards. The image will be collected by builders in the process of finishing the wall of the house. The fund believes that the decorative element will remain in its original form for 100 years.
The project of the light and music fountain is being implemented without the use of budget funds at the expense of investors. In the musical mode, the fountain will be able to provide the synchronous operation of water jets and lighting in time with the soundtrack. In addition, the facility will be vandal-proof, and all communications, including lamps, will be covered with a grating.
