Business Insider reported that, according to the Coca-Cola company, it will halve its portfolio of brands, stopping the production of about 200 drinks of various names.
In particular, Coca-Cola will refuse to release the well-known Powerade and Smart Water, as well as the Tab, Zico and Odwalla brands. At the same time, Coca-Cola will continue to explore “new categories of drinks” in order to expand its product range. As Business Insider clarifies, Coca-Cola itself dominates in the structure of Coca-Cola’s revenue, as well as Sprite and Fanta, which are in greatest demand not only among Americans, but also in other countries. The corporation’s net revenue for the third quarter of 2020 was $ 8.7 billion, down nine percent from the previous quarter. At the same time, the company’s revenue exceeded analysts’ expectations by $ 300 million.
