According to experts, this virus is transmitted mainly through tick bites. In the first half of the year, more than 60 infected people were identified in China, seven of whom died, according to the Global Times.

The predominant number of cases of SFTS infection were reported in Jiangsu province in the east of the country, the rest in Anhui and Zhejiang, which border on the west and south. The infected have a fever, cough, and a decrease in the level of leukocytes in the blood.

Virologist Sheng Jifang, who works at a hospital at Zhejiang University, does not rule out the possibility of person-to-person transmission of the virus. She clarified that it could be spread through blood or pus.

As we wrote earlier, the Russian doctor called the message that some products can have a positive effect on the condition of a patient with COVID-19 a delusion.
