The children’s clinic, located in the east of the Syrian city of Aleppo, in the Tarif Al Bab area, is vaccinating children, as reported on Wednesday, May 5.

The medical facility has drugs for diseases such as whooping cough, tuberculosis and diphtheria. The vaccination campaign plan is scheduled for a year in advance, there have been no doctors in the area for seven years, and many residents have fled their homes due to the war.

However, the old way of life is gradually returning, and in order to prevent childhood diseases, the health department has resumed the work of the local polyclinic.

Every day, the children’s hospital in Aleppo city examines about a hundred babies. In the event that there are too many patients, children are vaccinated right on the street

The whole day in the hospital is noisy due to children’s screams, but the clinic staff do not skimp on treats for young visitors: for example, nurses spend part of their modest salary on sweets, and thus can always prevent the child from being dissatisfied with the prepared candy in advance.

Earlier, on April 25, a festive procession dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of St. George the Victorious took place in the city of Aleppo, Syria. According to the rectors of the city church George Johann Jamus, the event decided to visit the Christian clergy from all over Syria, and as a result, about 800-900 people gathered there.
