The lymph nodes are the first to respond to changes in the body. When their increase speaks of the development of a dangerous disease, said the doctor and TV presenter Alexander Myasnikov.
According to the doctor, lymph nodes can become enlarged due to colds, diseases of the oral cavity, chronic fatigue and even cat scratches.
– If the lymph node “jumped” over the collarbone – it is most likely the development of oncology, – explained Myasnikov on the air of the TV channel “Russia 1”. – The enlargement of the lymph nodes under the armpits is observed already in the later stages.
The doctor noted that an enlarged lymph node is considered if its size exceeds one centimeter. If, at the same time, it is very dense, painful and adhered to the tissues, this may indicate a serious illness.
The physician calls on the representatives of the older generation to monitor the lymph nodes with special care.
