Blogger Yegor Zhukov, beaten in Moscow, was sent to the hospital straight from the police station to check for a concussion. This was announced by the REN TV channel on Sunday, August 30.
Earlier it became known that on Sunday evening two unknown persons attacked the blogger near the entrance of his house. They beat the young man and then fled on scooters.
The blogger’s spokesman said that he went to the police station to write a statement about the beating. It was also planned to call an ambulance there.
It is noted that in 2019 Zhukov himself was involved in a criminal case. On August 2, he was arrested on charges of mass disorder, but later transferred to house arrest at the request of the investigation.
Later, this charge was dropped from him, but the young man was presented with a new one – in calls for extremist activity. In December, he was sentenced to a three-year suspended sentence.
