This year’s most popular singer Billie Eilish has developed her own ukulele design. The project was carried out under a contract with the famous manufacturer of musical instruments, Fender, writes NME.
“I hope my version of the ukulele will inspire people not only to play, but also to write music – anyone can do it,” Eilish explained her new work.
Billy’s ukulele will have a built-in preamplifier, and the cabinet will be designed in the signature Billie Eilish branding – green men with a raised shoulder.
The musician shared that the ukulele was the first instrument she learned to play when she was 6 years old. Ukulele strings can also be heard in her first compositions. We are talking about the tracks “Party Favor” and “8”.
