According to the “Belta” agency, the Investigative Committee of Belarus reported that they would begin to seize the vehicles of the demonstrators, which are used to block traffic.
From now on, law enforcement agencies will consider these vehicles as “instruments of crime”, so they are subject to confiscation.
“In accordance with the country’s criminal procedural legislation, citizens’ vehicles used to block traffic are instruments of crime and serve as a means to establish the factual circumstances in a criminal case. Therefore, cars will be confiscated from their owners and recognized as material evidence,” the Belarusian Investigative Committee said.
