Bar “Apartment” in the center of Moscow was sealed due to violations of measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus. This was announced on Monday, December 21, in the capital’s department of Rospotrebnadzor.

The department recalled that the institution was open after 23:00, and the visitors were not wearing protective masks and gloves, and they did not observe social distance.

“The premises of the bar on December 20 at 18:10 are sealed. The materials of the case have been transferred to the Presnensky District Court of Moscow for the administrative suspension of activities, “the official website of Rospotrebnadzor noted.

The publication explained that the violations identified posed a threat to the health and life of people, and also increased the risk of the spread of COVID-19. In relation to the legal entity FDS LLC, measures were taken in the form of a temporary ban on activities pending a court decision.

On December 19, it became known that specialists of the Association of Administrative and Technical Inspections (OATI), as part of the raid, revealed gross violations of measures to counter the spread of coronavirus infection in the indicated bar. Violations were recorded, an administrative case was initiated on this fact.

Earlier in December, the head of the main control department of Moscow, Yevgeny Danchikov, said that sanitary measures to combat the spread of COVID-19 violate about 10% of the capital’s catering establishments. He added that inspections are carried out every day and most establishments are responsible for the requirements of the authorities.
