At least 11 people were injured and hospitalized in a gas explosion in the Japanese city of Koriyama in Fukushima Prefecture. This was reported by the NHK TV channel with reference to the Koriyama fire department.
According to preliminary data, two victims could not move independently. The four people are believed to be employees and customers of the bank’s branch, which is located next to the exploded building.
The TV channel suggests that the explosion could have occurred in the restaurant. The fire department and the police are working on the spot, in addition, 12 ambulances were sent.
