New asphalt on the embankment of the Yachensky reservoir will appear by mid-November. This was announced by the Governor of the Kaluga Region Vladislav Shapsha after inspecting the embankment in his Telegram channel on Friday, October 30.

“On the embankment of the Yachensky reservoir, the roadway is being repaired. Asphalting will be done in two layers. The contractor is reliable, and should be able to handle it by mid-November,” Shapsha wrote.

As previously reported, in Kaluga, the roadway of the Yachensky reservoir will be rolled into asphalt. Asphalt will appear on the road separating the embankment from the Volkov square. The workers will have to strengthen the areas disassembled during the installation of storm sewers and lay two layers of asphalt: leveling and top. The contractor is the DSK-Logistics company, which has proven itself well during the implementation of the Safe and High-Quality Highways National Project.

According to the contract, works are due to be completed in 20 calendar days. The contractor, however, will have to hurry due to unstable weather conditions.
