In Russia, prices for gloves and antiseptics rose in September compared to March, while the cost of medical masks fell. The results of the research conducted by Taxcom is published by RT on Friday, October 9.
Thus, the average price for gloves in September amounted to 181 rubles per pack, which is 34% higher than in March.
Antiseptics went up by 17% – in September they cost an average of 403 rubles.
At the same time, medical masks fell in price by 24%. So, in September, a pack of masks cost an average of 113 rubles.
In total, experts analyzed more than 22 billion cashier’s receipts.
In Russia, an increase in demand for medical masks, gloves, ginger and lemon is recorded – by more than a third in September compared to August. This is evidenced by the data of the operator of fiscal data “Platform OFD”, which Izvestia got acquainted with.
So, from September 1 to September 27, compared to the same dates in August, the number of purchases of medical masks in the Russian Federation jumped by 37%, sales of gloves increased by 47%. Buy ginger and lemon 85% and 71% more, respectively.
At the same time, sales of antiseptics decreased by 17%.
