The second hit on a policeman took place in Belarus on Wednesday. This time a law enforcement officer in Baranovichi was injured.
It happened at about 20.30 on Frunze Street. The Great Wall Hover tried to escape after the collision. After that, the traffic police began pursuit in an official car with flashing beacons on.
They repeatedly demanded that the man stop, but he did not react, as the press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Olga Chemodanova wrote about in her Telegram channel.
As a result, law enforcement officers shot through the wheel. The driver abandoned the car and disappeared. He is now wanted. And the police officer was hospitalized.
Earlier on August 12, a traffic police officer was run over at the intersection of Melnikayte Street and Pobediteley Avenue in Minsk. When arresting the driver, law enforcement officers used a service weapon. The attacker is 45 years old.
