In the Yoshkar-Ola cultural and exhibition center “Blagoveshchenskaya Tower”, the exhibition “Women of War” has begun.

Director Natasha Babushkina-Gireva, through an unusual cinematic project, tells about four women’s fates in the Great Patriotic War, according to the page of the museum platform in the social network “VKontakte”.

When creating the works, the author was inspired by various works about the war. The exhibition will tell about a woman pilot who lost her beloved in the war; an emigrant woman from an aristocratic family who sheltered Jewish children and ended up in a concentration camp; a woman sniper who went to war for her daughter; a woman doctor who came to the front from the training bench.

As we wrote earlier, the results of the Yoshkar-Ola theatrical festival, which was held from 2 to 7 October, were summed up in the Mari capital.
