In the Stavropol Territory, an accident occurred with the participation of eight cars, there are victims. This was announced on Tuesday, January 12, by the press service of the regional GU EMERCOM of Russia.
The accident occurred on the 283rd km of the Kavkaz highway in the Andropovsky district in the evening of the same day. Eight cars collided, moving in the same direction. According to the regional traffic police, cars VAZ-2109, Lada Kalina, VAZ-2110, two trucks and a truck “Gazelle” collided.
As a result of the road accident there are victims. According to REN TV, four people were injured, according to the traffic safety propaganda department, two. The victims were hospitalized in the hospital of Nevinnomyssk, the NSN notes.
Because of the accident, traffic on the highway was partially hampered, it was carried out in one lane. The traffic on the site was not completely restricted, specifies the site kp.ru.
The reason for the accident is called insufficient visibility and wet condition of the road surface, writes TASS. During the day, it was raining and snowing in the region, icy and fog formed on the roads, the Zvezda TV channel notes.
On January 12, it was reported that three people were injured in a massive bus accident in Tomsk. According to preliminary data, the driver of the Nissan car drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a PAZ bus and a Toyota. Drivers of foreign cars and a passenger of Nissan were injured.
