On August 24, amendments to the law on OSAGO entered into force, expanding the possibilities of insurers in matters of tariffication.
So, when calculating the price of the policy, the individual risks of the driver will now be taken into account: violations of traffic rules, etc.
However, car owners will not yet be able to take advantage of the changes, since the regulatory framework for this law has not yet been formed: a new procedure for information exchange between the traffic police and insurers is not ready, and the Central Bank has not prepared a decision to expand the tariff corridor, Kommersant specifies.
According to insurers, if these documents are prepared, the price of the policy will decrease in 180 settlements, including Moscow and St. Petersburg.
