The banned group Jamaat Nusrat Al-Islyam Wal-Muslimin (DNIM), also linked to the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda, banned in Russia, has taken responsibility for a series of terrorist attacks in Mali. On April 15, militants of the group fired at a part of the state’s armed forces near Menake. A week later, the jihadists carried out a terrorist attack against the military from the Takuba task force, in which three Swedish soldiers were injured.

On April 25, terrorists fired at a garrison in Tesalit district, where Mali’s troops, the French military and the MINUSMA peacekeeping contingent were stationed. During the shelling, three peacekeepers were injured.

On Sunday, May 2, DNIM resources announced a new attack on the French Armed Forces in the Minka district. There is no data on the victims yet. Also, footage appeared on the network in which textbooks and books were burned after the attack on the school. Another video shows a gathering of the group’s militants who allegedly arrived in a small town in the north of the country to recruit new recruits. Telegram channel Directorate 4 writes about this.
