The Crimean authorities continue to control the new owners of the Massandra winery, since the land under the enterprise remains on lease.
This was stated by the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov in a commentary to the TV channel “Russia 1”.
“The owner will lease this land and, at the same time, the republic will have full control over the rights that must be observed in relation to the labor collective. We have agreed that none of the company’s employees will be fired, and the number of employees will increase,” Aksenov said, adding, that the authorities of the republic will compensate the investor for half the costs of planting vineyards and orchards, which will help the company to develop.
