On the basis of the materials collected by the investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Smolensk Region, the court ruled to terminate the criminal case and impose a court fine against acting director of MKU “Builder”.
She was accused of abuse of office.
In December 2019, she signed documents on the fact of acceptance and payment for work under the municipal contract for the performance of work to adjust the design and estimate documentation “Reconstruction and modernization of the sludge processing workshop for urban wastewater treatment plants on Malo-Krasnoflotskaya Street, the city of Smolensk.” At the same time, she reliably knew about the contractor’s failure to fulfill the conditions and work in the proper volume, without actually obtaining any work results, without checking their volume and quality.
As a result of the official exceeding his powers, the administration of the city of Smolensk suffered material damage in the amount of over one and a half million rubles.
During the preliminary investigation, the accused pleaded guilty and fully compensated for the damage in the form of the contractor returning the illegally paid money to the city budget.
The court sentenced her to a fine of 20,000 rubles.
