A third of Russian enterprises plan to keep their “remote” jobs for another 1-2 years

Most of the business is preparing to extend anti-epidemic measures for another one to two years, follows from a joint report by PwC and the NAFI think tank. Thus, 75% of the interviewed entrepreneurs, both large and small, plan to keep the mask mode for this period. A third of the respondents announced the extension of the “remote”. However, despite the skepticism about the duration of the pandemic, most of the respondents are not going to wind up their business: 51% stated that their investment plans were unchanged or even increased.

Along with preparations for the extension of antiviral measures, businesses are adapting their investment plans to the “new reality”. According to 81% of respondents, the business climate in the country has changed for the worse during the pandemic. However, in the context of exclusively large business, 55% of respondents believe that, although the prospects for investments in the Russian Federation decreased in the midst of the crisis, now it has already recovered.

Despite the deteriorating investment climate, most of the leaders do not plan to “wind down” the business. A total of 51% of those surveyed stated that investment plans were unchanged in terms of amounts, although their structure had to be revised. Of these, 11% assured that they even decided to increase investments in comparison with intentions before the pandemic.
