For children of the Tver region, a special program will be developed to teach the basics of swimming.
This was announced on August 6 by the Governor Igor Rudenya on the air of the TV channel “Russia 24”.
– We will make a regional program, within the framework of which children from some municipalities, where there are no swimming pools, will be taken to others in order to conduct at least minimal lessons on teaching swimming. Now we are discussing it, – said Igor Rudenya.
Today in the region there are 61 swimming pools in 16 municipalities. In the near future in Bezhetsk they plan to open a sports and recreation center, which will also have a swimming pool.
Recall that the governor’s broadcast is associated with the increased number of accidents in the Tver region with the participation of children and adolescents. We will also talk about the development of the Rzhevsky region, the beginning of the school year.
