A resident of the Moscow region was arrested for beating his six-year-old son to death. This is stated in a message published on August 6 on the website of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
“On August 3, law enforcement agencies received a message about the death of a child who, according to his father, fell down the stairs at the entrance <...> During the examination, the officers found many injuries on the boy’s body, and later the forensic expert confirmed the presence of at least than from 20 shock impacts, numerous bruises, which led to the development of traumatological shock, from which the death of the child occurred, ”the department said.
During interrogation, the man admitted that he beat the child, as he was dissatisfied with the behavior of his son. On this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Part 4 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, resulting in the death of the victim by negligence”). The check is ongoing, according to the results of which a final assessment of the man’s actions will be given, taking into account the conclusions made during the investigation.
On July 6, eight-year-old Vika disappeared in the suburbs of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Four days later, the girl’s body was found in the forest. It was found that the child had been raped and killed. The suspects in the crime are currently in custody. They turned out to be a 31-year-old woman and a 45-year-old previously convicted man.
