A resident of the city of Vichuga, Ivanovo region, became a victim of fraudsters. She had free money, which lay in the bank, but the idea of earning money on it did not let the 52-year-old Vichuzhan woman go. Therefore, when she got a call from the “brokerage office” and offered additional earnings on the stock exchange, she was interested.
At first, the woman decided not to risk a large sum and transferred 16 thousand rubles to the “brokers”. After a while, they returned her money to her and even with good interest. The woman, believing that she had found easy money, trusted the scammers and transferred 330 thousand rubles to them.
After that, the “broker” stopped answering phone calls. Realizing that she had been deceived, a resident of Vichuga turned to the police.
A criminal case has been initiated on this fact, an investigation is underway.
