In the city of Karasuk, Novosibirsk region, a recidivist thief was arrested who stole a TV set, two remote controls, an antenna and a set-top box from a private house. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region.
The total amount of stolen goods was about 13 thousand rubles. To retrieve the entire television set, a burglar tore the padlock from the door of a private house.
“In the course of operational-search activities, police officers identified and detained a 31-year-old local resident suspected of committing a crime, previously convicted of theft,” the department noted.
All stolen goods were found during a search at the place of residence of a recidivist thief. The fraudster’s television booty was seized. A criminal case was initiated against the man with a coercive measure in the form of an obligation to appear.
