A resident of one of the villages of the Gagarinsky district turned to the police station on duty. Smolyanka, 30 years old, announced the theft of money from her card. Police officers established that an unknown person called the Smolyanka under the guise of a bank employee. He persuaded her to protect her savings from fraudsters and tricked her into finding out the details of two bank cards at once. About 140 thousand rubles were stolen from the cards. At the same time, Smolyanka from the media knew about the methods of deception used by scammers.
And a 50-year-old resident of Smolensk from Verkhnedneprovsky turned to the duty unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Dorogobuzhsky”. A resident of the village said that an unknown person in an unidentified way committed theft of funds in the amount of 105 thousand rubles from his bank card.
The police are conducting checks on these facts.
